We welcome you to the Robin Hood Inn at Mawdesley.



The Robin Hood Inn has been a family concern for over 30 years. Jack and Joan Wilson took the pub in the 1960's and built up a roaring trade of local drinkers.

15 years later their daughter and son-in-law Margaret and David Cropper successfully took over and offered home cooked food for the first time. Latterly Margaret and David have taken more of a back seat. Their daughter Elizabeth has taken over the reins and has continued to build on an excellent reputation for quality food and drink.

Whether you prefer a quite drink by an open fire or sitting outside in the beer garden with views over the fields; lively entertainment nights with friends; good food either downstairs in the bar or upstairs in Wilsons restaurant, The Robin Hood Inn offers something for everyone and all age groups.

Our Team of Chefs work together to provide you the finest cuisine with the freshest ingredients. Our Specials Board is changed regularly to cater a wide menu to suit all tastes and vegetarian dishes are always available.
When available they always use local produce, be it local grown strawberries and herbs or fresh pheasant which they buy from the local hunting parties.

     

In the Robin Hood, our lunchtime and early doors offer provides a smaller menu at an excellent price. With 2 courses for £5.50 or 3 courses for £6.50 again our Chefs offer a varied choice; the menu is changed daily.
